Wiley Sharp is a doctoral student in urban and cultural geography at the University of Toronto. She studied printmaking and philosophy at UW-Madison and geography at York University.
Wiley’s dissertation research studies the urban histories of Toronto’s Bloor Viaduct and explores the racialized and gendered production of space in the settler-colonial city. Her previous work explores the place-making practices of queer and trans* youth in Toronto’s suburbs. In addition, she helps maintain the Geography Zine Organizing Network (GEOZONe).
